i.
Coordinating the formulation and
implementation Human Resource strategies, policies rules, regulations and
systems for the Authority;
ii.
Complying with the provisions of the Human Resource policies, procedures, government
circulars, regulations and labor laws in the management of Human Resource;
iii.
Creating awareness on developed and reviewed human resource management policies, laws,
regulations, procedures and government circulars;
iv.
Preparing and implementing annual Human Resource budgets and plans;
v.
Reviewing and placement of job advertisements in the press;
vi.
Coordinating the preparation of long list and assessment of job applications for short listing;
vii.
Coordinating induction and orientation programs for new employees;
viii.
Coordinating new employees and update of biodata in the Human Resource system;
ix.
Coordinating staff separation and clearance processes;
x.
Coordinating processing of the payroll and ensuring that statutory deducti
are effected;

Ensuring maintenance and update of employee leave records;
xii.
Ensuring maintenance and update of employee
bio-data;
xiii.
Coordinating employee performance appraisals, analysis and presentation for moderation;
xiv.
Coordinating employee disciplinary and grievance handling processes;
xv.
Coordinating preparation of files and meetings for human resource advisory committee;
xvi.
Coordinating preparation of files and meetings for performance management committee;
xvii.
Preparing annual employee training and development programs;
xviii.
Maintaining records for mortgage,
car loan and
pension schemes;
xix.
Maintaining and updating employee medical scheme;
xx.
Organizing quarterly health and financial talks;
xxi. Coordinating and preparing quarterly and annual reports on employee training, employee performance, performance contracting, mortgage and car loan, medical and leave administration.
i. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Sociology, Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Commerce from a recognized institution;
ii. Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Sociology, Business Administration, Business
Management, Public Administration, Commerce from a recognized institution;
iii. A minimum period of ten (10) years in relevant work experience and at least four (4) years in middle-level;
iv. Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
v. Membership of the Authority of Human Resource Management;
vi. Computer literacy;
vii. Fulfills the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution.
